Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958 under very poor conditions. Her mother, a failed schoolteacher and actor, made a living selling automobiles while her father was an auto salesman. Jennifer was the youngest of the four children in her family was often with her mom to performances in the theater and was much impressed by her. Jennifer's parents separated after she turned five. Jennifer was raised to British Columbia by her mother and moved in with her siblings. Jennifer didn't get a good education, despite being an extremely artistic kid. When she was a kid Jennifer often became being the target of bullies in schools across Canada. As her interest in theatre was fading at the age of 16, she began participating in plays alongside her mother. She was inspired by her mom to inspire all the children in the family to pursue a love of and interest in the performing arts. Following that, she took action.
